ABOUT DANIELLE

Danielle is a multi-faceted creative, artist, and author whose work lives at the intersection of healing, culture, and everyday life.

Born in West-Central Africa and now based in Austin, Texas, Danielle has always expressed herself through many forms — textiles, writing, fashion, food, and quiet moments of creation. To her, creativity is not something separate from life; it is a language, a refuge, and a way of making sense of the world.

In a world where hardship is often unexpected, long-lasting, and deeply personal, many people learn to carry their pain in silence. Emotions are internalized. Stories remain untold. And over time, that weight affects how we live, love, and see ourselves.

Through her work, Danielle creates spaces — visual, written, and experiential — where people feel seen, softened, and reminded of their inner strength.

Through my creations, I give a voice to women, men, youth, and children who have faced loss, betrayal, violence, or seasons where life felt heavy and confusing — moments when they couldn’t share what they were going through, and couldn’t yet see how to move forward.”— Danielle Mb

Danielle’s creative expressions are diverse, yet guided by one intention: to help people reconnect with themselves and gently unstuck their lives.
Her books and written reflections offer emotional grounding and inner clarity.
Her textile and wearable art tell stories of identity, resilience, and cultural memory.
Her soft-living content — cooking, travel, and quiet daily practices — invites presence and calm into everyday moments.

Much of her art incorporates African textiles and traditional materials, honoring the ways patterns, colors, and textures have long been used as forms of communication — especially by women — when words were not available or safe. Through this work, Danielle highlights cultural exchange, empowerment, and the beauty of diversity as a shared human heritage.

Behind each creation is intention. Behind each story is respect.
Those who connect with her work are invited not just to observe, but to feel.

Danielle believes that healing does not always arrive through force or urgency. Sometimes it arrives through gentleness, creativity, and being reminded that the power to move forward already lives within us.

My heart is bursting with creativity and passion, and through my work, I wish to pass that along. Since birth, this has been my vocation — and the realization of a lifelong dream.”
