There was a time when she gave everything.
Not because she was weak, but because she believed love meant giving more than she kept.
She didn’t yet know how to protect herself.
Didn’t know that a heart can be open… and still need boundaries.
So she stayed. She gave. Even when it cost her pieces of herself.
But time changed her.
She learned herself. She learned that love must include her, too. Now she stands differently.
Still open…but no longer unprotected.
